• With Montisa since: 2015
  • Industry experience: I’m relatively new to the industry, but I’ve spent a lot of time interacting with the design and customer service worlds prior to entering the furniture industry.
  • Other experience: I spent five-ish years working with a non-profit art school as an instructor while pursuing an education in art. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in different forms of customer service.
  • Most valuable skills: I’m laid-back (can roll with the punches), creative, and driven. I operate well in high-stress situations and under pressure.
  • How I interact with customers: I strive to be punctual, professional, and helpful with customers. I want them to feel cared for and like they are in the right hands whenever they are in need of assistance.
  • Something I’m obsessed with at work: Methods to increase the effectiveness of time-management. I’m always trying to find new ways to maximize efficiency in regard to time management and productivity. Right now, that means a fun creative planner and loads of check lists!
  • Something I’m excited to be learning about right now: The differences between two- and four-stroke engines and how they work. I also like learning how energy levels and mood can impact mental efficiency.
  • Professional inspirations: My family has always driven me to pursue my professional aspirations and chase my dreams. While I admire many people who have come along in my life in the professional world, family will always be my anchor.
  • Favorite band or album: Blink-182 or Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (depending on the mood).
  • What I do off the clock: Ready for this? I love baking, cooking, chasing my toddler around, painting, sewing, decorating, crafts, spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, canoeing, gardening, cleaning… a little bit of everything, and it changes from week to week. I have a huge number of hobbies that is ever-increasing (much to my poor husband’s dismay as he gets dragged into craft stores over and over again).
